Wednesday, September 25, 2019-Popular radio presenter, Andrew Kibe, has been taken to court after he failed to pay a loan of Ksh 2.5 million.
The Kiss FM presenter originally borrowed Ksh 215, 000 from a former colleague identified as Joshua Weru in 2012 and promised to pay back within 18 days.
They had agreed on Ksh 55,000 as interest but 7 years later, he has never paid the loan that has accumulated to Ksh 2.5 million.
Weru asked the court on Wednesday to demand that Kibe repays the money that was loaned to him including the accrued interest.
He also wants Kibe to pay the cost of the lawsuit and other “relief” that the court will deem fit.
This means that the popular radio presenter may be forced to pay more than the Ksh 2.5 million that was indicated in the suit filed last year.
