KIKUYUS and KALENJINS should not be allowed to rule Kenya again – WAIGURU says and pokes holes into RUTO’s presidential quest in 2022

Sunday September 1, 2019-Kirinyaga County Governor, Anne Waiguru, has vowed to campaign for Building and Bridges Initiative (BBI) which seeks for an expanded executive and creation of a position of a Prime Minister and
two of his deputies.

The initiative spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga has already gained momentum and speaking in Mombasa on Saturday , Waiguru said  this  initiative will “’cure a perennial problem  of winner takes all” during presidential election.

Waiguru also said she will not be threatened or intimidated to stop the push to expand the national executive.

“We cannot have a situation where two communities can conspire and capture power because of their numerical strength,” Waiguru said.

Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho, who was also present, said all regions must feel represented in top echelons of the country’s leadership to end chaos after presidential elections.

“In future every Kenyan must feel that he/she is represented in the government,” Joho said.
