Sunday September 15, 2019-On Saturday, State House blogger, Dennis Itumbi, claimed that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga had been hospitalised at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, for undisclosed ailment.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Itumbi, who is a close confidante of Deputy President William Ruto, claimed that Raila has been treated at the facility and went on to wish him quick recovery.

"This is not a great week for former PM Raila Odinga. I wish him quick recovery. Sickness comes to us all. Aga Khan hospital asante for the treatment. May God relieve him of the pain and heal him too," Itumbi wrote.

But in a response on Sunday, Orange Democratic Movement’s Communication Director, Philip Etale, said the “old man” is as fit a fiddle and termed Itumbi’s remarks as propaganda.

“That's untrue and those peddling lies should stop. He is okay. Just because he hasn't appeared in public doesn't mean he's sick. He even hosted a Nairobi delegation at his Karen home on Saturday," Etale said.

Etale also said the former Prime Minister will on Sunday lead a delegation of ODM team in campaigning for ODM candidate in Kibra-by election, Imran Okoth.
