Tuesday, September 17, 2019 - Many Kenyans have been wondering how and where they can watch football and other premium content at the comfort of their homes without having to pay too much.

Currently, DSTV enjoys a monopoly and their premium packages are out of reach for an average Kenyan.

However, this monopoly could soon come to end as more people start migrating to bEIN Sports.

Bein Sports is a Middle East company with the rights to broadcast all premium football content in the MENA region (the Middle East and North Africa).

Bein Sports decoder use the Eutelsat 7West satellite to beam their content which can be easily received in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda.

Signals can also be received in parts of Tanzania.

All you need is a dish and bEIN Sports decoder and you can enjoy all the premium content available in DSTV for just Sh13, 000 a year.

To put this into perspective:

Dstv 7,700 X 12 Months is Ksh92, 400 per year.

BEIN Sports Costs Ksh13, 000 per year.

The difference is Ksh79, 400

Where to get it

You can get the bEIN sports decoder in Hashmart Shops or ship directly from Dubai.
Once the installation is done, the activation is done with contacts in the UAE.

However, there is a small issue of legality since MultiChoice has sole rights to air premium football content in the east and southern Africa and they can take legal action against anyone using the bEIN Sports card.

Nevertheless, this has not stopped some Kenyans from acquiring this cheap but quality alternative to DSTV.

One of the prominent Kenyans who swears by bEIN Sports is city lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

The flamboyant lawyer has been watching football using bEIN Sports and likes to brag about its quality on his twitter page.
