Thursday September 26, 2019 - Former Mungiki leader, Maina Njenga, has urged Kenyans to support a presidential candidate who will transform their lives in 2022.
Speaking on Wednesday, Maina, who has been away on a sabbatical leave for almost three years, said the electorate should choose wisely to avoid repeating the mistakes they have been making every election cycle.
He also said he is confident that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, will win the 2022 presidential election if he decides to contest for the top seat.
Raila Odinga, 71, is yet to declare whether he will vie for the Presidency in 2022.
Maina said Raila Odinga has demonstrated that he is a selfless leader who has Kenya’s interests at heart.
On Laikipia County politics, Maina, who is a resident of Laikipia, urged Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi and the County MCAs to work together for the smooth rollout of development projects at the grassroots.
He said once leaders are divided, it is common mwananchi who suffers the most.
