Friday September 20, 2019 - The Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) has fined controversial pastor, James Maina Nganga, Sh 1 million for allegedly flashing a woman‘s breasts on a live TV.

According to CAK, Nganga committed the offence on Sasa TV channel, which is owned Neno Evangelism Church.

According to the Director of Public Affairs, Chris Wambua, Maina was first issued with a warning by the authority after a similar incident took place.

However, within a week of being given the warning, he repeated the same mistake.

“He has been fined 1 million shilling for continuing to broadcast when a woman’s breast were exposed. This happened during the watershed period which is in violation of one of the Communication Authority rules and regulations. He was first issued with a warning which we expected him to stop but he did not," Wambua said.

But in his defence, Nganga said that he was not at fault whatever happens during deliverance, an intense moment where he prays and casts out demons, from individuals said to be possessed by evil spirits.

Hata juzi nimeshtakiwa ati nimeoneshanga matiti, sasa matiti mimi sikujuwa kama ilikuwa imetoka maana sio yangu sasa mimi niliwaambia mimi sijui nafanya deliverance.

You know the people who form the constitution hawakuita deliverance ministry waangalie hizo vipengeleKama mtu akilipuka na yuko mbele ya camera.” he said.
