Tuesday August 13, 2019-Outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna has warned ODM Leader Raila Odinga over plans to form a new alliance with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Raila and Uhuru have been behind the push for constitutional reforms through the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), which they established after their famous March 9, 2018 handshake.

There are claims the duo are pushing for an expanded executive where there will be positions of a prime minister and two deputies.

Venting on social media, Miguna accused Raila of offering to help Uhuru remain in power and warned the strategy will backfire and lead to 'bloodshed and agony' in the country.

The exiled lawyer cautioned that it will be Raila's supporters who will suffer most in case of violence.

"When a hyena pretends to be sheep's best friend, everyone knows that the hyena is preparing for a feast. When a cowardly, perennial people's betrayer like Raila Odinga offers to help Despot Uhuru Kenyatta cling to power, we know that there will be bloodshed and agony soon," Miguna tweeted.

".... and it will not be Uhuru's blood and wails of agony of his Mount Kenya slaves. The blood and wails will be that of sycophantic Raila supporters. Yes, go tell them that I've said so," he added.
