Tuesday August 6, 2019 - Tiaty MP, William Kamket, has claimed only President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition chief, Raila Odinga, will determine who becomes the next President of Kenya.

In a post shared yesterday through his social media handle, the lawmaker said those who will not align themselves with Uhuru and Raila in the next General Elections will end up in the Opposition.

Kamket, who is a close ally of KANU chairman Gideon Moi, noted that the two leaders command a huge following and have enough political influence to decide the outcome of the 2022 presidential elections.

"Fellow Kenyans...the next President of Kenya will be decided by Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and Raila Amollo Odinga.”

“Those of the contrary opinion are invited to take their rightful place in the Opposition," tweeted Kamket.

The KANU legislator has been vouching for the candidature of Moi to take the mantle from Uhuru whose term expires in 2022.

He has been accusing Ruto of being corrupt and warning voters particularly in Rift Valley against electing the DP.
