Wednesday August 14, 2019 - President Uhuru Kenyatta returned to the country without announcing his return from an official trip in the Caribbean, where he toured Jamaica and Barbados.
“The President is back in the country.”
“Tomorrow (Wednesday), he is expected to open the multimillion Nakuru County Assembly office complex where he will be hosted by Speaker Joel Maina Kairu,”
“He will also preside over the 93rd edition of the Kenya Music Festival State gala at Nakuru State House,” Jubilee Head of Communications, Albert Mwemusi, revealed.
The complex is the brainchild of former Speaker, Susan Kihika, who is now the Nakuru Senator.
Normally, when the President leaves or returns back into the country, he is officially welcomed back by DP William Ruto.
State House also takes it to their social media pages, Twitter and Facebook, to announce his schedule.
State House Spokesperson, Kanze Dena, also sends a newsletter to newsrooms via email.
She further informs the media on the whereabouts of the President via a press conference.
Prior to leaving for Jamaica, State House announced his three-day visit to the Carribean nation.
