Monday, August 26, 2019 - Controversial preacher, Apostle James Ng’ang’a, has humbled himself and apologised for issuing death threats to Citizen TV journalist, Linus Kaikai.
The founder of Neno Evangelism Churches had taken issue with Mr.Kaikai’s call to have preachers without Theology Degrees barred from running churches back in March this year.
In response, Ng'ang'a, who doesn’t have a Theology Degree, accused Kaikai of meddling in affairs he does not understand and threatened him with unspecified consequences.
Kaikai filed a complaint in court which saw the abrasive televangelist arrested and released on bail.
He has now apologised to Kaikai while appearing before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts.
In the video shared by Kaikai, the infamous preacher says he’s sorry for having threatened the journalist.
Ng'ang'a stated before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts on Monday.
On his part, Kaikai wrote:
“I HAVE today forgiven Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism for the threats to life he directed at me in March this year. Pastor Ng’ang’a apologized to me before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts and I accepted the apology.”
