Tuesday August 27, 2019-Former Kiambu County Governor, William Kabogo, has warned politicians allied to Tangatanga and Kieleweke of polarizing the Mt Kenya region with 2022 politics.
Speaking on Kameme Arahuka’s programme on Tuesday, Kabogo said that the people from Mt Kenya will only give an ear to those individuals who are speaking on matters of development and not about 2022 succession politics.
“I would like them to know this, Mount Kenya votes aren’t for sale, this issue of hoving from one burial to another during weekends should end, its time to work for the people,2021 will come and you will be free to campaign,” Kabogo said.
The former Governor further said that the politics of succession has given rise to massive corruption in the country as politician seek money to travel from one region to another.
“I would like to support the head of state Uhuru Kenyatta on the fight against corruption, to those who have stolen, just know the government is after you and the best thing you can do is to report yourself and negotiate as the constitution has allowed and all your property will be taken back,”Kabogo said.
Kieleweke is a team opposed to Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022 while Tanga Tanga is team supporting the DP‘s presidential quest.
