Monday August 12, 2019 - Narc Kenya Chairperson, Martha Karua, has finally revealed who she will support for presidency in 2022 after President Uhuru Kenyatta retires.
In an interview with K24 on Sunday, Karua who unsuccessfully vied for the presidency in 2013 before trying her luck in the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race pitting her against Anne Mumbi Waiganjo, previously Anne Waiguru, said if asked between National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, she will choose Raila.
Karua said Ruto has no reputation to admire.
"He (William Ruto) does not have a very good record; not one to admire," she said, citing numerous past corruption scandals in which the DP was implicated.
Karua, however, does not have a problem supporting Raila Odinga for the top seat should he decide to run.
"If I have to choose between Raila and Ruto, I would go with Raila without thinking twice about it," she noted.
