Saturday August 31, 2019-Nominated ODM senator, Wilson Sossion was on Friday sacked as the Secretary General of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT).
Sossion has been SG for the giant teacher union for more than 20 years and the Registrar of Trade Unions sacked him as the KNUT boss.
Mr Sossion’s woes started in April after he called for teachers to boycott the Competency-Based Curriculum training.
The TSC deregistered Mr Sossion in July 2019, putting more pressure on him to relinquish the KNUT position.
Mr Sossion also questioned President Uhuru kenyatta’s decision of appointing Education Cabinet Secretary, Prof George Magoha.
Sossion termed Uhuru’s decision of appointing Magoha as naïve and describe it as “roadside appointment”
Uhuru was furious with Sossion‘s remarks and he vowed to teach him a lesson he will never forget.
Two weeks ago, Sossion was almost roughed by Uhuru’s bodyguards when he tried to access Presidential function at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
