Monday August 26, 2019 - Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) General, Miguna Miguna, has waded into the Kibra constituency by-election politics making a passionate appeal to area residents.

In a post on social media on Sunday, Miguna asked residents to elect a Member of Parliament who is visionary, committed and who is ready to fill shoes of their immediate legislator, Ken Okoth.

Miguna cautioned them against electing Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary-General, Edwin Sifuna, and former Ruaraka MP, Elizabeth Ongoro, who he termed as "opportunists".

The duo are reportedly eyeing the ODM party ticket in their bid to replace Okoth who was also sponsored to the National Assembly by the same opposition outfit.

"To my brothers, sisters and compatriots in Kibra: Your departed member of parliament, Ken Okoth, was a visionary, disciplined and committed human being with integrity.”

“He was born, grew up and represented you as one of you.”

“Don't elect opportunists like Edwin Sifuna and Ongoro," Miguna wrote.

The “fearless general” said Sifuna and Ongoro are opportunists who are being fronted by the people’s conman, Raila Odinga.

Miguna is still in exile in Canada.

  1. Kibera voters, don't elect any rat that has never been one of you in kibera. With that measure delist them one by one and you will be left with your exact election option. The vampire with his street rats are not your choices for votes but rats with diseases of poverty and arrogance as their big conman vampire bat.
