Sunday August 18, 2019-Eva Buyu, the widow to slain Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT boss Chris Msando, on Saturday snubbed her husband's 2nd anniversary.

Msando died in 2017, a month to elections. His death heightened the country's politics, with Opposition Leader, Raila Odinga, accusing the government of eliminating him.

Msando’s family accused Ms Buyu of abandoning them, arguing that she has gone missing for over a year now with the slain officer's children.

"We don't know why she did not come. She does not want anything to do with us. It seems she has moved on with life. She does not answer my calls but my mother's only," said Peter Msando, the brother.

Even was appointed as board member to Export Processing Zones Authority by the Ministry of Industrialization last year in August, a move that was viewed as a result of handshake.

This comes even as two years down the line, Msando's killers are yet to be brought to book.

He was found dumped in Kikuyu, off Waiyaki Way, a month to polls.

The family also accused the country' leadership of doing little to have the culprits arrested.

They insisted that their wounds won't be healed until the matter is rested.
