Watch Cancer warrior, Kibra MP KENNETH OKOTH, sing a popular Bongo song in first public appearance (VIDEO)

Monday, July 08, 2019- Kibra MP, Kenneth Okoth, is back home after spending several months in France where he was receiving cancer treatment.

The 41-year old legislator, who is battling colorectal cancer, was all smiles when he attended the annual Kibra Music Festival on Sunday accompanied by Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja.

During the event, Mr. Okoth took the mic and thrilled his constituents by singing a few  lines from a popular Bongo flava song, Roho Yangu, by Rich Mavoko.

He used the song to advice young men the importance of heeding advice from their elders.

The song goes: “Hayo maneno walinena wazee wazamani, ukiwa mjanja kuchapiwa ni sirir ya ndani.”

Kenyans have hailed him for his brave fight against the disease that has clearly taken its toll on him.
