UHURU begs MAGUFULI to forgive JAGUAR over his silly remarks about expelling Tanzanians from Gikomba! He had threatened to expel Kenyans working in Tanzania

Wednesday July 3, 2019 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly written a special letter to the President of Tanzania, John Magufuli, to explain how his Government was aggravated by the statements made by Starehe MP, Charles Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar.

Two weeks ago, Jaguar made reckless remarks where he threatened to expel and beat all Tanzanians and Chinese working in the popular Gikomba Market.

According to Tanzania’s media, Uhuru is said to have offered an apology to Magufuli and Tanzanians over Jaguar’s reckless remarks.

“The relationship between Kenya and Tanzania is very close because there are some tribes that are found in both these two countries, so the partnership in various issues including business and social cannot be trapped,” he said

Uhuru added that Tanzanians and Kenyans have always been free to live and work in any East African country and where problems or disunity are in place, they are sorted.

“The Tanzanians are pleased with the various measures taken by the Kenyan Government against the Member of Parliament that expressed these statements and were not the Kenyan Government’s position or its citizens but it was the individual’s position,” he wrote.

Jaguar, who has been in custody for more than one week, was released on Tuesday on a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
