Wednesday July 10, 2019-Deputy President William Ruto has topped a new poll released on Wednesday in terms of media coverage on matters national politics by 27.88%.
This comes despite allegations of the plot to assassinate him before 2022 General Elections.
The DP beat his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, who came in a close second with 20.76%.
The survey conducted by the Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA) between October of 2018 and June of 2019, showed that ODM leader, Raila Odinga, was the third most covered leader in national political matters at 18.04%.
Other leaders who were ranked by the poll were special envoy to South Sudan, Kalonzo Musyoka, with 3.76%, and Malindi MP, Aisha Jumwa, standing at 3.13%.
On the other hand, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, got 3.11% coverage, with former Jubilee party vice-chair, David Murathe getting 3.06%, while all the others shared the remaining 20.25%.
