See what RUTO and his allies said after UHURU blatantly ignored his DP’s call for an urgent meeting to discuss RAILA and 2022! There is fire on the mountain

Wednesday July 3, 2019 - A statement by the State House spokesperson, Kanze Dena, that President Uhuru Uhuru Kenyatta is too busy to hold any political meeting to discuss former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and the 2022 plans, has not gone down well with the DP and his allies.

Speaking after Dena’s statement, Ruto’s allies, among them Kericho Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot, as well as Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, dismissed the State House spokesperson saying they want to hear from Uhuru himself.

"We are waiting for a word from President Kenyatta himself because he is our party leader.”

“There are things that can only be discussed by him at this level,” the Nandi Senator said.

"That's a party leadership decision to be made by the party leader, deputy party leader and Parliament leadership.”

“It isn't an executive decision," he added.

Ruto and his allies wanted four pertinent issues discussed in the meeting among them, the March 2018 handshake, party divisions, war on corruption and plans for 2022 elections.
