Tuesday July 2, 2019 - As the country witnesses the final cremation of Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, many leaders have come forward to eulogize him as a man who exudes excellence in whatever he undertook.

As Safaricom CEO, Bob took pride in connecting with his customers and being responsive to their needs, taking feedback to improve on the services.

His caring nature could be seen in how he related to the mobile telecompany’s customers especially those who raised concerns on social media platforms.

On Saturday just hours before his death, a tweep by the name Duncan Ng'enda, sought Bob's intervention because of the difficulty he was getting in accessing services after migrating to the network.

In response, the late telco boss apologised for the inconvenience to the new customer and assured him that the issue would be looked into.

"Sorry about this, it should not be your experience. Please give us a chance to fix it, you will not regret it. Can you DM your details to @Safaricom_Care," Collymore wrote back.
