Tuesday July 9, 2019-Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga will be on ballot in 2022 and is ready to tackle DP William Ruto.
This was revealed by former Kitutu Masaba MP and ODM Treasure Timothy Bosire.
Speaking during a funeral at Miriri in Kitutu Masaba, Bosire said the former Prime Minister is ready to go for another race in 2022 and will trounce Ruto whether he likes it or not.
"I am sure he (Raila) will be on ballot. It's going to be a tough race but we have planned well. Things will not be easy for our opponents when that time comes," Bosire said.
"I am sure that ODM is still the most popular party in Gusii and as a team, we are ready to recruit more members. It's only Raila who should unite us," he added.
In recent months, Raila has remained mum about his future in politics, with the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta making it difficult for him to publicly announce plans.
And during this time, Deputy President William Ruto has also been moving around the region hoping to sway it from Mr. Odinga; a move that has seen Bosire revolt.
According to Bosire, Raila Odinga still remains the candidate for 2022 polls and has a capacity to beat all his opponents handouts down.
