Monday July 8, 2019 - Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Treasurer, Timothy Bosire, has confirmed that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, will be in the presidential ballot during the 2022 presidential elections.

In recent months, Raila has remained mum about his future in politics, with the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta making it difficult for him to publicly announce his plans.

But on Friday, Bosire who attended a funeral at Miriri in Kitutu Masaba said the former Prime Minister is ready to give it another shot in 2022.
"I am sure he (Raila) will be on ballot.”

“It's going to be a tough race but we have planned well.”

“Things will not be easy for our opponents when that time comes," Bosire said.

"I am sure that ODM is still the most popular party in Gusii and as a team, we are ready to recruit more members.”

“It's only Raila who should unite us,” Bosire added.

He also said the entire Mt Kenya region is behind Raila Odinga’s presidency and promised Deputy President William Ruto a gruelling battle in 2022.
