Monday July 8, 2019-Former Starehe MP, Maina Kamanda, has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve the cabinet in a bid to restore trust among the members.
Speaking during a Sunday service at the ACK Riabai Church in Kiambu County, Kamanda said that it is evident that all is not well in the Cabinet and there is a big division following the alleged plot of assassinating Deputy President William Ruto.
Kamanda noted that the bad blood existent in the executive is likely to derail the government from achieving the Big Four Agenda.
Kamanda said that the move to dissolve the cabinet will restore order after it emerged that four of the Cabinet Secretaries were involved in an alleged plot to eliminate the second in command before 2022.
“I am telling the President that currently his Cabinet is already divided. If I was him, I would dissolve the entire Cabinet and constitute a new one to have 100% loyalty from the Cabinet members,” he said.
Kamanda is among a group of old men who have been leading an anti Ruto crusades in Central Kenya.
