Monday July 22, 2019-Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has asked the investigative agencies to stop beating around the bush and arrest the real suspect in the sh 21 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams' scandal.
On Monday, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Noordin Haji, ordered immediate arrest of Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich and his Principal Secretary, Kamau Thugge over the infamous scandal.
According to DPP, Rotich and Thugge withdrew Sh 4 billion from Barclays Bank Westland’s branch in cash and took the money to Deputy President William Ruto’s residence in Karen.
Now Ngunyi said after the arrest of Thugge and Rotich, Ruto is next in line since he was adversely mentioned in the scandal where Sh 21 billion of taxpayers money was looted by senior bureaucrats in the government.
“According to DCI, 4 billion was withdrawn in CASH from a WESTLANDS bank. It was TAKEN to the home of some INFLUENTIAL BIG Person. After "Henry Rotich" will they ARREST this BIG PERSON? I have a BAD Feeling,” Mutahi wrote on his Twitter page on Monday.
