Here is what ROBERT ALAI said immediately after he was released on a Sh 300,000 cash bail – This man has balls of steel, he is still fighting the system

Wednesday July 3, 2019 - Renowned social media crusader, Robert Alai, has insisted that he will continue championing for the rights of police officers.

On Tuesday, Alai, who was arrested two weeks ago for publishing photos of dead police officers, was released on a Sh 300,000 cash bail.

Sharing his thoughts via social media immediately after his release, Alai said that police officers must be respected whether dead or alive.

“We won’t beg and we won’t hide.”

“Our men and women in uniform will have to be treated with dignity whether dead or ALIVE.”

“Demanding this is not demanding too much but just showing that we are human and we appreciate them.”

“Let’s TERRORIZE the oppressors,” Alai said.

Alai was arrested on June 18th for allegedly circulating pictures of police officers who were killed in an IED attack in Wajir, which the police termed as an act supporting terrorism in the country

When he was arraigned in court, Alai was charged with supporting Somali-based ragtag, Al Shabaab, and disclosure of information against the law.

His case will be heard on August 8th, 2019.
