Tuesday July 16, 2019-A court in Brisbane, Australia, will on Thursday make a ruling on whether former KTN journalist, Ester Arunga, is guilty of charges of lying to the police over her son’s death in 2014.
Early this week, Arunga who had a decorated career on KTN, admitted lying to the police over the cause of her son’s death.
She told police that her son Sinclair was killed by her husband Quincy Timberlake.
Arunga said she lied to police in a bid to help her husband avoid punishment.
Mr Timberlake is accused of killing the boy five years ago in the family home in Kallangur, Australia.
Quincy, who is in a mental hospital will possibly face murder charges and he may spend more than 100 years in prison according to Australia law.
Arunga, who pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the murder could face up to 25 years in jail.
