Wednesday July 3, 2019 - Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna, has reacted to the appointment of former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka as Kenya’s Special Envoy to South Sudan.
On Tuesday, Uhuru appointed Kalonzo as the Special Envoy to make sure there is a lasting peace in South Sudan.
Sharing his thoughts via social media, Miguna who is still in exile in Canada, accused Uhuru of creating jobs for retirees instead of the millions of jobless youth in the country.
"Despot Uhuru Kenyatta cannot create jobs for the millions of unemployed youth wallowing in poverty because he is busy creating political sinecures for castrated retirees like Moody Awori, Francis Muthaura, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Michael Joseph,” Miguna said.
Kalonzo's appointment comes seven months after he offered to be President Kenyatta's 'mtu wa mkono' (errand boy).
"From today, let no one separate me and my brother Uhuru. I have accepted to run his errands. Those who will attempt to interfere will see my other side," the former Vice President said during the burial of his father, Mzee Peter Musyoka Mairu, in November last year.
