Tuesday, July 23, 2019- A Kenyan man living in Texas, United States, is facing murder charges after he caused a fatal crash while driving under influence.
Patrick Mukuria Njogu rammed into a police patrol car on Sunday and killed a prisoner who was being transported to jail.
According to reports, the 39-year old Kenyan was driving on the wrong side when he rammed into the police car.
One of the officers suffered two broken bones in his foot, while the other suffered a concussion.
Police said Njogu’s blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was 0.23, nearly three times the legal limit.
