Tuesday July 23, 2019-Renowned economist and scholar, David Ndii, has ruled out any possibility of joining President Uhuru Kenyatta‘s Cabinet following the arrest of Treasury CS Henry Rotich.
Rotich will be definitely be fired after he was arrested and charged over loss of Sh 19.5 billion during construction of Arror and Kimwarer dams in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
On Monday after the arrest of Rotich, netizens asked Ndii to take over from Rotich.
But in a fast response, Ndii said he cannot work with Uhuru’s government claiming it is “illegitimate”
"Public Notice: I’m not available to work for Uhuru Kenyatta’s corrupt illegitimate govt. Those thinking corruption/ economy can be fixed in Treasury are gravely mistaken. National crisis will persist until a financial implosion or Jubilee is out of power whichever comes first," Ndii wrote on Twitter.
