Controversial blogger DENNIS ITUMBI meets UHURU for first time after he was implicated in DP RUTO’s planned murder

Sunday July 14, 2019-For the first since his arrest two weeks ago, former State House Digital Communication Director Dennis Itumbi came face to face with President Uhuru Kenyatta since his release from prison last week.

Itumbi met Uhuru and shared podium with him at the wedding of Governor Ann Waiguru in Kirinyaga yesterday.

The State House blogger seemed to have fallen out with Uhuru, forcing Government to throw him out of State House.

While there are no photos showing whether or not he greeted Uhuru, Itumbi was one of few Kenyans who graced Waiguru’s wedding.

President Uhuru Kenyatta steered off politics during the event, only focusing on congratulating Waiguru. He also rebuked betting firms in the country.

“The firms should stop threats that they will move to court. The Government must get its share to fund activities that are beneficial to this country,” he said.

“Some firms have been hoarding taxes but we have managed to push them to pay and we will continue doing so. Those in the betting companies are our friends but we have to agree that the government must get its rightful share to build cultural centres and other developments," he added.

Itumbi is currently working with DP William Ruto's team and during his incarceration, only top aides of Dr. Ruto showed up in court. He has also fallen out with Uhuru's allies.

Itumbi was arrested in connection with DP William Ruto's assassination claims, with detectives from the DCI accusing him of forging the letter with an aim of implicating several senior government officials in the planned murder.
