Check out our tips on Nigeria v South Africa AFCON Quarter Finals clash and 10 games played today with over 90% success rate.

Wednesday, July 10, 2019- Nigeria’s Super Eagles face Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the quarter finals of the Africa Cup of Nations tonight at Cairo International Stadium.

South Africa had a slow start in the tournament but are brimming with confidence after knocking out hosts Egypt in the round of 16.

Nigeria on the other hand demonstrated why they should be considered favorites with a thrilling 3-2 win over defending Champions, Cameroon, to book a date with Bafana Bafana.

The two teams faced each other in the 2019 AFCON qualifying with Bafana Bafana winning a 2-0 at home and managed to hold the Super Eagles to 1-1 draw in Lagos.

That first-leg win in 2017 is South Africa's only competitive victory in their meetings with Nigeria, although they won 2-1 in a friendly in 2004 and have not lost to these opponents in almost six years.

Prediction: Nigeria 2-1 South Africa.

South Africa made a mockery of most pre-match predictions during their fantastic win over Egypt and Nigeria know they are coming up against an opponent high in confidence.

However, Nigeria's immense AFCON experience should help them adapt to the unexpected - as they proved during that convincing comeback against Cameroon in the round of 16.

South Africa have found a formula that makes them a threat to any team and their opportunistic counter-attacks. Go here>>>
