You won’t believe why RUTO is insisting on talking to DCI KINOTI alone and no one else! Detectives now fear the worst might happen to the four Mt Kenya CSs

Wednesday June 26, 2019 - Detectives close to DCI boss, George Kinoti, have reportedly rejected a move to have their boss interrogate DP William Ruto over the assassination saga.

According to them, Ruto may seize the opportunity to dress down the top detective over their past differences including the Kimwarer and Arror Dams’ scandal.

With Ruto insisting that he must be grilled by Kinoti over the assassination plot that has seen four Ministers implicated, detectives insist that the DCI should avoid the trap.

Already, Kinoti has assigned one Michael Sang to pursue the case.

However, Ruto refused to talk him and insisted that he must be grilled by the top detective.
“(Sang) was kept waiting for the better part of Monday afternoon in vain.”

“We are still waiting for the way forward,” said an informed officer who asked not to be named.

On Monday, CS Peter Munya insisted that he will not record statements along with his colleagues until Dr Ruto makes an official complaint.

“The standard procedure is that if someone makes an allegation of that nature, he is required by law to record a statement.”

“The Deputy President has not recorded any statement,” Munya said on Monday.
