Saturday June 22, 2019-Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi yesterday boldly told President Uhuru Kenyatta that Rift Valley is banking on his support come 2022.
Speaking during the relaunch of Rivertex by Uhuru, Sudi said the Rift Valley region will not let the President to slip out of their hands, arguing that they need each other in future expeditions.
The vocal MP also blamed social media architects of allegedly escalating his perceived differences with President Uhuru Kenyatta, adding that gossips should not be allowed to prevail.
“Cheap gossip and hearsay” on social media. “Just know that we have a mutual relationship and that we both want a shoulder to lean on,” stated Sudi.
But President Uhuru Kenyatta did not engage in politics, choosing to only address issues in Big Four agenda. He also asked Kenyans the remain united.
The Head of State, whose ties with Ruto were crafted in Eldoret seven years ago, said he's keen to revive industries that had either liquidated or folded up.
“What we want is to ensure we work and change the lives of all Kenyans. What we have done here is not the end. We will continue reviving the manufacturing sector to provide jobs for Kenyans,” Uhuru said.
