UHURU’s rant on Sunday against RUTO was just ploy to fool people like RAILA ODINGA! See what the President did with the DP on Wednesday

Friday June 21, 2019 - National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, has dismissed rumours of there being a rift within Jubilee Party after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rant on Sunday noting that the President and his Deputy, William Ruto, have been meeting often.

Speaking on Thursday, Duale said Uhuru and Ruto consult on a daily basis adding that the two met last on Wednesday.

At the same time, the Majority Leader dismissed those calling for a Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting to iron out the differences in the party saying the PG can only be held with instructions from Uhuru.

“We will convene a meeting if I receive the party leader’s instructions.”

“We have no crisis at the moment.”

“There is no urgency,” Duale said.

According to Duale, the President and his Deputy consult every day.

“I was in a meeting on Wednesday with them,” he said.

A section of MPs allied to Ruto have been calling for a PG to discuss unity within the party with some raising fears of a possible fallout.

“Unlike during Jubilee’s first term between 2013 and 2017 when we could be called for PGs four times a year, none has been convened two years down the line in the second term,” said Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi.
