UHURU is using KRA and DCI to intimidate and harass us – Tanga Tanga MPs say and swear that they will continue campaigning for RUTO ahead of 2022

Tuesday June 18, 2019 - Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro, has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is using police and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers to harass leaders who are supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.

Speaking on Monday, Nyoro said that some of his colleagues had been sent by senior Government officials to warn him against actively supporting the DP.

He, however, said that he was ready to take on Kenyatta’s men head on and would not be cowed.

I respect the President and all human beings but I fear no one.”

“Let the State operatives come for us and stop threatening us through emissaries.”

“We are ready for them,” Nyoro said.

Nyoro’s sentiments were echoed by Kandara MP, Alice Wahome, who said Uhuru's men are intimidating and frustrating her for supporting Ruto’s presidential quest in 2022.

Wahome claimed that already, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has started investigating her over a 2012 case where she served as a lawyer in a case on the estate of former Minister, Mbiyu Koinange.

Wahome is among four lawyers accused by Koinange’s family of withdrawing Sh284 million from the estate’s account without proper court orders.
