Monday June 17, 2019 - Celebrated social media activist, Robert Alai, has said President Uhuru Kenyatta is afraid of losing Mt Kenya region to his deputy, William Ruto, and that is reason he is throwing tantrums at Mt Kenya MPs who are aligned to the Tanga Tanga movement.
Tanga Tanga is a movement associated with Deputy President William Ruto.
On Sunday during the Akorino Annual Meeting at Kasarani Gymnasium, Uhuru read riot act to MPs who are often accompanying the DP in his early campaigns warning them of dire consequences should they continue politicking?
In a post on Sunday, Alai claimed that Uhuru, who is completing his second and final term in power, has decided to appoint security experts to head different departments in his Government because he is afraid.
Alai said that Uhuru disrespected himself when he attacked allies of Deputy President for what he termed as early campaigns.
“The President showing his weakness openly. Tantrums is not strength. Also, the people he seeks to stop thinks that he is appointing security officials to head every govt department because he is afraid. President is doing it all wrong,” Alai said.
