Tuesday, June 18, 2019 - Safaricom have introduced a new call feature for their customers that may add more misery to the struggling boy child.

The feature dubbed ‘Reverse Call’ allows the caller to transfer the cost of the call to the target party by putting a hashtag in front of their numbers like #0722******.

However, the receiver will have the option of accepting the call by pressing "1" or rejecting the call by pressing "2".

So instead of sending someone a ‘please call me’ this Reverse Call comes handy.

A statement from the giant Telco read:

"At Safaricom, we maintain our commitment to always provide our customers with relevant products in line with their needs.

"This innovation is in line with this commitment and has been tailored to mirror the relationships between our customers with a goal of empowering them to always remain connected with their loved ones,”

This announcement has not gone down well with some men who feel that slay queens will take advantage of this feature to further dent their pockets.
