They have started panicking! Governor’s driver arrested with Ksh 1000 notes worth millions in his car (PHOTO)

Sunday, June 02, 2019- It appears corrupt politicians who have stashed millions in their homes have started panicking following the introduction of new generation currency notes and the subsequent withdrawal of the Ksh 1000 note.

During the official unveiling of the new notes, CBK Governor Joseph  Njoroge, announced that Kenyans have until October 1 to exchange their old notes with the new generation ones after which the current Ksh1000 note will cease to be legal tender.

As expected, those who have stashed money in their homes have started clearing the loot.

This is after Ksh1 million was found in a Samburu County vehicle and the driver arrested for money laundering.

Samburu Governor Moses Kasaine Lenolkulal was recently arrested over suspected Sh84 million fraud at the county.
