Shock as UHURU’s Government makes a U turn on BRT buses-We didn’t expect this at all from Jubilee Government

Monday June 3, 2019-The Transport Ministry has changed its initial plan of buying 64 high-capacity buses from South Africa for the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) system in Nairobi.

Speaking to the media, Transport Cabinet Secretary (CS) James Macharia stated that the move was meant to favour local assemblers.

He noted that they had resulted in purchasing half of the initially planned and source the rest from within.

“We are set to acquire only 32 BRT buses from South Africa. The rest of the buses will be sourced from local manufacturers across the country,” he divulged.

However, he did not reveal the details about the financing promising that he would disclose everything at a later date.

According to the CS, the 64 buses were supposed to cost approximately Ksh1.6 billion with one valued at Ksh 25 million.

The BRT buses were meant to address the issue of heavy traffic in Nairobi.

  1. those zombie from the vampire election thief coming with useless brains from his CBA bank - running this abyss regime of the day.

Local assemblies of killer buses/vehicles that don't meet any safety measure on our roads. Ask this fools to produce safety rating for any killer vehicle assembled locally and you will find there's none: in actual fact don't buy those vehicles nor accept them even if you are given free. Just import.

Let the vampire and his zombie be driven by those vehicles they assemble locally - them they can inform the citizens of Kenya to use those toys.
