See the man UHURU has appointed as KRA boss to replace corrupt NJIRAINI – Cartels have no place to hide at Times Tower

Thursday June 6, 2019-The Jubilee Government has finally announced the man who will replace Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Commissioner General, John Njiraini who retired early this month.

Making the announcement on Thursday, Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich named James Githii Mburu as the next KRA Commissioner General.

A gazette notice released on Thursday indicated that Mburu will serve for a period of three years effective July 1, 2019.

The notice is dated June 4, 2019

Mburu will be replacing John Njiraini who has been at the helm of the revenue body since March 2012 when he replaced Michael Waweru.

He is currently the KRA Intelligence and Strategic Operations Commissioner.

Mburu is a former Military Intelligence Officer and he was very instrumental in Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) operations in Somalia between year 2010 and 2011.

He is also very committed public servant and a close friend of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
