Monday June 17, 2019 - President Uhuru Kenyatta's angry outburst at Kasarani, yesterday without a doubt caught many Kenyans by surprise, especially Deputy President William Ruto and his MPs, who were being addressed.
During Uhuru’s address, Ruto and his MPs in the now infamous tanga tanga movement appeared disturbed and distraught as the President reduced them to zombies literally.
At one point, Ruto was caught on camera laughing and occasionally bending over to his neighbours, perhaps to get a translation of Uhuru's speech.
At another stage during the address, Ruto clasped his chin with his mouth wide open and looking around.
Kikuyu MP, Kimani Ichung'wah, is captured staring, eyes wide open and hardly blinking as the Head of State's voice thundered in the Kasarani Indoor Arena.
Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, on the other hand is seen frowning as he tries to listen to both President Kenyatta and Homa Bay Woman Representative, Gladys Wanga, who was whispering something in his ear.
Either way, it was a long day for the DP and his renegade MPs who have refused to heed to Uhuru’s call to abandon the 2022 politics.
