Monday June 17, 2019 – Self proclaimed National Resistance Movement general, Miguna Miguna, has attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta after he read riot act to Mt Kenya MPs who accompany Deputy President William Ruto to Tanga Tanga rallies.

On Sunday, Uhuru who was speaking at Kasarani Gymnasium during the Akorino annual gathering, warned MPs of dire consequences should they continue drumming up support for Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.

“These thugs that we elected are busy politicking.”

“They should not think I am their boy, they will not stop me from constructing roads.”

“They didn’t look for votes on my behalf.”

“I went looking for my votes.”

“These rubbish should stop bothering me,” Uhuru roared using Kikuyu language.

Sharing his thoughts via social media on Sunday, Miguna, who is still in exile in Canada noted that it was unfortunate for the President to address a public event in his mother tongue.

"This is wrong and immoral on so many levels.”

“It must be condemned equivocally.”

“It was disgraceful and chauvinistic.”

“The despot is speaking in Kikuyu and attacking his Kalenjin deputy who does not speak Kikuyu.”

“We must arrest this CHAUVINISTIC ARROGANCE," Miguna said.
