Tuesday June 18, 2019 - Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, was among the first Jubilee Party leaders who warned President Uhuru Kenyatta against associating himself with National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga.
In a series of sustained attacks and suspicion on Raila’s side, Cherargei warned Uhuru to be careful with Raila because he is a cunning politician who can destroy Jubilee Party.
Cherargei said Raila is known for playing dangerous tricks and he urged Uhuru to learn from history when Raila Odinga destroyed KANU in 2002.
“Uhuru should be careful with Raila because he’s a very…he’s a dangerous character.”
“In 2002, he destroyed KANU,” Cherargei said.
Today, Cherargei’s words have come to pass because there is nothing called Jubilee Party.
Uhuru and his deputy, William Ruto, are reading from different scripts and the only thing Kenyans hear are amorphous groups called Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga groups.
Kieleweke is led by Uhuru and his status quo lieutenants while Tanga Tanga is associated with Ruto and a group of youthful MPs from Mt Kenya and Rift Valley.
