Wednesday, June 26, 2019- Tanzanian Members of Parliament have asked President Uhuru to take stern action against Starehe MP Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar over his reckless xenophobic remarks.

Jaguar, who has since been arrested, was caught on camera inciting Kenyan traders to evict foreigners especially Ugandans and Tanzanians who are doing business in Kenya.

While discussing the matter in Parliament, this sober and wise legislator castigated Jaguar for the reckless remarks and reminded him that if other countries decided to retaliate, Kenyans will suffer the most because they are scattered all over the continent.

The Kenyan government has since condemned Jaguar’s remarks and reassured foreigners in Kenya of adequate security.
