KABOGO slams Bomet Governor, JOYCE LABOSO, for going for treatment in Britain - When I was a Governor, I was treated in Kiambu hospitals

Thursday June 13, 2019 - Former Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo, has attacked Bomet Governor, Joyce Laboso, for seeking treatment abroad.

The Governor is currently admitted in one of the leading hospitals in London over an undisclosed ailment.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kabogo read laziness and unfairness in the move, especially from a person supposed to provide better healthcare for the people of Bomet.

He noted that health, being a devolved function, is a job that Laboso should have embarked on in the County.

Kabogo , who was being hosted for an interview with Radio Jambo, said Laboso should actually have trust in her own public hospitals and lead her people in seeking treatment locally.

“Inakuwaje gavana unaenda ulaya? Health is a devolved function. Inaonekana hujaunda hospitali kiasi ya kukutibu mwenyewe”

“(how can a Governor seek treatment in Europe yet health is a devolved function? It seems you have not made the hospitals fit to treat you personally)," Kabogo stated.

He revealed that during his tenure as Kiambu Governor, he equipped hospitals in the County and even members of his family sought treatment there.

  1. what sickness was it!

it depends what illness one is suffering from. if it's that mpigs/governors HIV bugs, then you can get treatment abroad if it will help prolong life but short if consuming services locally.
