Is RAILA the next UHURU? See what he did in Kiambu? Even Governor WAITITU was shocked by what Baba did yesterday

Saturday June 1, 2019-Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was in Kiambu County yesterday to the utter surprise of many.

Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony to start construction of affordable housing at Tatu City in Kiambu County, Raila said he does not need to ask anyone permission to visit any part of the country.

This is after Governor Ferdinand Waititu contested that Raila would have informed him of his visit to Kiambu so that he can organize security for him.

Raila noted President Uhuru Kenyatta was aware of his presence in Kiambu and that is all he needs.

"I bring greetings from the President. He knows I am here, in his backyard, and I bring his blessings for this project," he said.

"I can go to any part of Kenya without seeking the permission of anyone, especially a governor," he added.

The Opposition leader said he was happy to be associated with the Tatu City project and urged Kenyans to rally behind the idea of Special Economic Zones.

"Attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Unity Homes at Tatu City and took the opportunity to ask Kenyans to embrace the idea of Special Economic Zones. I also appealed for measures to address the high cost of land which is scaring away potential investors from our country,” tweeted Raila.

Additionally, Raila reiterated that the mission of unifying the country and the fight against corruption is still on course and it will be done without fear or favour.

"We want to promote unity in this country. We want to fight corruption. Corruption is an 'animal' we are going to deal with irrespective of who is committing it," he said.

Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu and his Deputy James Nyoro were among the leaders present who welcomed Raila to Kiambu County.
