Tuesday June 18, 2019 - Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri, has called for a parliamentary group meeting to sort out issues in Jubilee saying the situation is deteriorating and MPs have no idea about the President's Big Four agenda.
Speaking during a funeral service for his brother in Nakuru on Monday, Ngunjiri said Jubilee is divided and the only person who can unite the party is President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“There is a problem in Jubilee that we must admit.”
“I think the President needs to put Jubilee in order.”
“Our party is in tatters and it is only Uhuru, our party leader, who can bring order," Ngunjiri said
He also warned the President against using threats and insults to his supporters saying this will kill his legacy.
“Uhuru should not use threats and insults.”
“We also have ego.”
“If indeed Uhuru thinks we never supported him, let him step down and seek fresh mandate without our support.”
“He will surely see dust,” he said.
Ngunjiri is among Tanga Tanga MPs, who are drumming support for Deputy President William Ruto‘s presidential bid in 2022.
