I am ready to ditch WILLIAM RUTO if EACC and DCI stop following me and my family – WAITITU tells UHURU – Vows never to steal public money again!

Thursday June 27, 2019-Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu on Thursday met a top Jubilee Government official where he begged him to help him reach President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The governor, according to multiple sources, met the Jubilee man at his office in Nairobi where he pleaded with him to urge the President to order the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) stop harassing him and his family.

Waititu, who is not spending nights in either of his two Nairobi homes for fear of arrest, reportedly told the man that he was ready to ditch Deputy President William Ruto if the EACC drops the probe against him.

The embattled Governor told the PS that he had realised his mistake of going against the President by joining Ruto in his premature campaigns and would henceforth not accompany the DP in any function.

He vowed to start anti-Ruto campaigns in Kiambu once the EACC stops probing him over corruption in the county government.

Waititu is being sought by EACC and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over misappropriating Sh 2.5 billion meant for his county development.

  1. What does the nonsense of ditching the Dp have to do with alledged embezzlement of our county funds? Who is this thieving family fooling? What business does this thief Waititu think that UK has with stopping the sleuths from performing their duty? Impunity must stop. We should be hearing about how much stolen funds have been recovered from sold assets in his, immediate family members and cronies names. Us kiambu residents need to stop acting blind by singing to the tune that a thief is being harassed for supporting so and so.
