On Wednesday, Waititu was spotted coming out of a hotel in Nairobi accompanied by his driver who also slept in one of the dingy lodging rooms in River Road, Nairobi.

The Governor is being sort by detectives for misappropriating Sh 2.5 billion meant for building of roads in the expansive County.

“Investigations have unearthed clear wrongs and his own staff are singing to DPP under plea bargaining mechanisms starting with that mathe who was arrested w cash in Kiambu. BenjiNipashe,” Benji said.

Last month, Waititu was arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives but he bribed his way out by bribing former Kiambu Principal Magistrate, Bryan Khaemba, who gave him an anticipatory bail of Sh 500,000.

Chief Justice David Maraga has already suspended the Magistrate for giving Waititu bail.
