Saturday June 29, 2019-Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna has waded into the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party politics, reacting to the removal of Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok as the party vice chairman.
In a National Executive Committee meeting held on Thursday in Nakuru, ODM replaced Nanok with Loima MP Jeremiah Lomorukai on grounds he (Nanok) had 'abdicated his responsibilities' as the party's vice chairman.
Nanok was accused of supporting Deputy Presdent William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022 which is against ODM party policies.
Commenting on the issue, Miguna likened ODM to a 'Caliphate' where Raila was the ruler and was using tactics such as cowardice and dictatorship to rule.
"Governor Josephat Nanok, welcome to the Odinga Caliphate: The house of chaos, cowardice, greed and dictatorship. Only the revolution will cleanse Kenya of despotism, greed, looting and human rights abuses," Miguna wrote on his Twitter page.
